Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Your personal data will be processed by Mulan Group srl for the purposes set out below:

To facilitate navigation and to provide services expressly requested by you through the forms specifically prepared on the Site (contact section, newsletter, account registration, pop-up, taste test); such data are acquired at the user’s express request and therefore do not require explicit consent.
Without explicit consent, for the conclusion and execution of the sales contract of the products offered on the Site (purchases section), namely the management and fulfillment of the order, the communication of any circumstances related to the order, the delivery of the product, the management of payments and any returns, and post-sales assistance, as well as for the fulfillment of legal obligations, in accordance with civil, tax, and accounting regulations. The legal basis of such processing is based on the fulfillment of the sales contract of which you are a part and of legal obligations and, therefore, the related processing by Mulan Group srl does not require your explicit consent.
Only with specific and distinct consent, to make known to the Customer, through the sending of advertising and informative material via periodic emails (purchases section), information regarding the products and services of Mulan Group srl as well as any other initiatives, commercial or otherwise, undertaken by the company (hereinafter “Marketing”);
Only with your consent, to analyze your tastes, preferences, habits, and behaviors in order to send you personalized commercial communications based on the commercial and behavioral profile thus created (hereinafter “Profiling”). Data Retention Period

Your personal data will be processed for the time strictly necessary to achieve the above purposes, after which they will be deleted or anonymized, and in particular:

For the purposes of selling products on the Site referred to in point A), your personal data will be processed by Mulan Group srl for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and, subsequently, for a period not exceeding 10 years from the end of the relationship in accordance with legal obligations in civil, tax, and accounting matters;
For the Marketing and Profiling purposes referred to in points B) and C), your personal data will be processed by Mulan Group srl for 24 and 12 months, respectively, provided that you do not withdraw your consent to the processing beforehand.
In any case, data collected through the Site may be retained by Mulan Group srl for periods longer than those indicated above in order to defend or assert a right and/or for the prevention and detection of fraud and other crimes or offenses within the terms allowed by applicable regulations.

Nature of Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal

Providing data for the purposes referred to in points A) and B) is necessary for making product purchase orders, for browsing, for receiving newsletters, for account registration; failure to provide the required data will make it impossible to conclude and execute the sales contract.

Providing data for the purposes referred to in points C) and D) is optional. You may therefore choose not to provide any data or to later deny the possibility of processing data already provided: in this case, you will not be able to receive advertising and informational material, information regarding Mulan Group srl’s products and services, as well as any other initiatives, commercial or otherwise, undertaken by the company.

Providing data for the purposes referred to in point E) is optional and left to the user’s discretion.

Scope of Data Communication and Categories of Recipients

Solely for the purposes specified above, all data collected and processed may be communicated by Mulan Group srl to internal personnel authorized to process them according to their respective duties, as well as to the following categories of external subjects as independent or external data controllers:
